Lori found MiBoLife while searching for a trainer to prepare her for her first figure competition. It is important to note that Lori had never had a regular workout regimen in the past.
When Lori came to me I instantly noticed that she had great energy, was quite attractive, radiant, and feminine. I was certain that all of these factors would eventually serve her very well on stage. It was when I got a look at her physique that I realized the challenges we would face.
Overall her physique was decent and had potential. She already had a fairly flat stomach and was relatively thin, so we would not necessarily need to focus on weight loss. Where we would need to work would be her overall frame. She was narrow up top and had very little upper body flare. So, we quickly needed to build out her v-taper and pop out her shoulders. Although her arms were decent in size, they had quite a bit of flab on them. The same with her legs and buns. I quickly began to understand that Lori's body fat seemed to migrate to her limbs and butt, while her core stayed fairly lean.
I knew we had our work cut out for us but with Lori's enthusiasm and positive attitude, I was quite sure that we would have her sorted out and ready to do some damage in her first figure contest, 4 months away.
