Before After 16 Weeks

 

  Yemi contacted me after learning of MiBoLife through searching Google for a bodybuilding trainer.  Yemi wanted the best, and knew he was likely to be unsatisfied if he were to enlist the help of a “run-of-the-mill” trainer at the local gym.  So after, weighing different options he reached out to me.  After talking with Yemi, learning of his history, experience, and goals, I was confident that MiBoLife could take him to the next level.  Plain and simple, Yemi’s primary goal was to uncover his “six-pack”.  He had some experience with weight training but always seemed to plateau after a few months.  He was never able to get to the proverbial “Next Level”.  When I began working with Yemi I noticed that his physique seemed “soft” or what I call “puffy”.  But he did have good structure… decent size\thickness, wide shoulders\clavicles, full chest…   Where he was lacking was “crispness” and “detail” to his physique.   Now it was time for Yemi to put it all together, as well as conquer the ever challenging diet and nutrition portion of the equation.  Enter MiBoLife.  Our goal was to teach Yemi a new style of training and focus more on quality and form.  Yemi expressed interest in potentially competing in a bodybuilding contest.  We decided to focus on refining his physique then we would determine if our next step would be to prepare for a contest.

 Yemi's Testimonial:

  I began with MiBoLife in January 2010 on a whim.  I recently started a phase where I would make fitness goals to achieve during the year.  In 2009, that goal was to run a half marathon (accomplished May 2009).  In 2010, I decided to participate in a bodybuilding competition.   Up until that point, my body weight would fluctuate depending on how much cardio and weight-lifting I was doing at the time.   When I was in my best shape, I was confident in my figure, but felt I could accomplish more.  I naturally have a big body so my immediate goal was to take some weight off, get “ripped”, and develop a “six-pack”, which had eluded me in the past.   I researched on the internet for natural bodybuilding and came across the mibolife.com website.  It was one of the first I found, but I liked what I saw and contacted Ben.  When I met with him, we discussed my goals, my current fitness routine, my diet, and what I thought were the biggest challenges towards achieving my goal.    As a person who easily falls off course without direction, I was drawn to Ben’s structured approach to fitness which includes a tailored diet and physique pictures every 2 weeks to monitor progress.   Later that week, we spoke on the phone for 45 minutes and came up with a diet plan.

 Nearly right after we started, I booked a flight to Las Vegas, so my immediate goal changed from getting ready for a bodybuilding competition to getting ripped for various Vegas pool parties.  For the first two weeks, I had a slow start, which was quickly caught by the pictures.  Also, I was in worse shape than I thought when I began.  After some strategic adjustments to my program, I was on my way and quickly saw the improvement in my physique.   At first the diet was challenging, but Ben was accessible in case I felt like cheating.  Soon, “eating clean” became more doable.

 After 16 weeks, all I can say is “Wow!”  By the time Vegas came, I was ready and brought my “A” game.  I was ripped!  I have never been in this type of shape before and am leaner and more defined than when I was in high school.  Just looking at these results and comparing them to the beginning only motivates me to work out more. I love the way I look in my clothes and generally have my shirt off 90% of the time (just kidding, maybe 80%).

N ow that Vegas is in the past, we are finally training for the competition.  Although I’m unsure of how I’ll do there, I’ve already achieved a level of satisfaction that can’t be taken back.  Thank you MiBoLife!
